Huawei patent for a touch-sensitive bezel for smartwatches was approved by WIPO. According to the document, the edge of the watch will have eight zones that can send various commands, when triggered in various combinations. It will allow Huawei to adds extra controls without the need for more buttons, similar to the rotating bezel solution of the Samsung Gear gadgets.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., (TEVA) announced that its subsidiary, Teva Pharmaceuticals International GmbH., has signed a global license agreement with Alder Bio-Pharmaceuticals Inc.(ALDR) that agreement validates Teva’s IP and resolves Alder’s opposition to Teva’s European Patent No. 1957106 B1, with respect to anti-calcitonin gene-related peptide antibodies and methods for their use.
