Apple receives a patent for optical fingerprint detection system

Apple has been granted a patent for a system that uses temperature adjustment and optical fingerprints detection on iPhones. The patent describes a method for acquiring first and second reading associated with one or more pixels of an array to generate a temperature compensated signal reading.
