Samsung has just been awarded a patent for a “flying display device” – a screen mounted on a quadcopter that follows your gaze. That patent describes Samsung’s device would be made up of an LCD screen held aloft by four propellers. The flying display includes a flight control unit, power source, gyroscope, motion sensor, GPS, a sensor unit would be pointed at the user to track where their face and eyes are pointing, and to read and react to gestures and voice commands.

Pharmaceutical company Gilead has made headlines in recent years for offering an effective hepatitis C drug that has helped many patients. Gilead this month won an open-and-shut case against a squatter on the domain name “sovaldi.eu,” that was offering lower-priced generic versions of Sovaldi, including through links to “buyers’ clubs” organized to obtain medicines more affordably. The website was called, “SOVALDI. The life-saving cure for Hepatitis C which nobody can afford.”
